SCOPE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architecting and developing web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC’s)
• Leading the gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
• Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring junior engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving challenging programming and design problems
• Roughly 90% hands-on coding/development and 10% contributing to open source knowledge base and new innovation
• Generate technical documentation and PowerPoint presentations to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams and business users
• Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results
• Demonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, web and/or mobile apps
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• BS or MS in Computer Science or relevant experience
• 4-6 years’ experience building world class, public facing web applications.
• 2+ years of leading development teams and developing and deploying a component or product with offshore and offsite development developers
• Proficient in HTML5, AJAX, the DOM, JavaScript and JS libraries, HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, W3C standards and compliance requirement
• Well versed in Javascript frameworks like Jquery, Angular, Bootstrap, etc.
• In depth understanding of Unit Testing. Must have used at least one Testing Framework like BrowserStack, Angular Test Scripts. Experience in Load Impact or Load Runner is a plus.
• Experience and understanding of service oriented architectures (SOA), Object Oriented Design/Development, Continuous Integration a must.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility and usability
• Familiarity with web service concepts, REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON business object representations.
• Expertise in Java and Spring MVC frameworks.
• Knowledge in Amazon Web Servcies based database like Postgres database and S3 storage capabilities
• Knowledge in Bitbucket, Stash or Git version control is a plus
• Some iOS and Android experience is also beneficial
• Able to work in an Agile SDLC using scrum methodology.
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment for iterative project turnarounds on mission & revenue critical, customer facing applications and websites

Data Analytics and Visualization Team

SCOPE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architects and develops database solutions to support Medetechie products development eforts
• Deep experience in data modeling, data analysis, database stored procedure and basic database administration
• Collaborates on the clarification of functional requirements, develops technical specifications, estimates, and identifies risk
• Acts as the technical subject matter expert: mentoring offshore engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, while solving challenging programming and design problems
• Commits, tags, merges, and deploys releases, patches and fixes across multiple environments
• Generates technical documentation and communicates architectural and design options to stakeholders
• Resolves defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
• Works cross-functionally with various Medetechie teams including: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results
• Demonstrates a passion for developing well architected, optimized database solutions
• Provides database expertise including a strong understanding of ETL
• Works in partnership with marketing, executives, and the data science team to provide data to the EDW and for analysis
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
• Participates in on-call needs and planned maintenance
• Ensures compliance with regulations and best practices
• Implement and own back-up and disaster recovery policies and procedures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• BS or MS in Computer Science, IS, or relevant experience
• 6+ Years in database management system design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration
• Deep experience in Amazon Web Services with S3, RDS related AWS capabilities is preferred
• Experience in Redshift and PostgreSQL databases preferred
• 3+ years developing and deploying with offshore teams preferred
• Proficient in security standards and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in back-end architecture, including optimization, scalability, and usability
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite
• Knowledge in Bitbucket, Stash or Git version control is a plus
• Healthcare development experience preferred
• Able to work in an Agile SDLC using scrum methodology.

Data Analytics and Visualization Team

SCOPE

The Database Engineer reports to the Director, Medetechie and will join a talented and growing team of data and application engineers. The primary role of the Senior Cognos Developer is to develop effective and high quality technical BI solutions that meet the business requirements.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Must be able to author basic reports in Cognos and Troubleshooting capabilities in Cognos reporting tier
• Experience in building complex dashboards with rich visualizations and complex data sets is highly desired.
• Must be able to design and build a Cognos Framework model with a scalable Physical, Logical and Presentation layers.
• Must be able to use APIs programmatically to interact with Cognos (See Section on Integration)
• Must be able write complex, extensible and reusable batch scripts (in MS DOS, WScript) for domain monitoring, domain recycling and operational scripts to build cubes, run and burst reports and sequence them correctly in the scheduling software
• Must be able to administer a Cognos Environment single handedly, if needed – Installation, Configuration, Administration.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, follow development standards and coordinate in between Onshore Product/ Business Users and Offshore Database and Report development team
• Experience in developing Business Intelligence solution on different databases like MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server with good SQL programming skills and understanding of performance tuning used in data management systems
• Development experience of advanced reports, and ability to write supplemental code (SQL) to create customized reports.
• Desired experience with latest Business Intelligence and analytical technologies (Ex: Analytics, Big Data, Statistics, Algorithms, and Cloud computing etc...)
• Accurate Relationship mappings, prevention of unions, stitches, unions, nested datasets, et al
• Must understand basic governor settings, server versus database side processing; DMR versus relational, pitfalls of DQM; Use of a DQ Analyzer to isolate issues

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with onshore teams and design and develop all the enterprise Business Intelligence solutions. 
• Communicates status of the team to the Offshore Project Manager, including status, issues and other needs
• Build API/SDK integration architecture with MAP’s Angular/Java based application
• Designs Security architecture for Cognos and develops Single Sign On and Context based integration with MAP’s web application
• Validate that the business requirements are complete, consistent, concise, and technically achievable.
• Lead the design report templates, create, manage and fulfill requests for reports and information. 
• Reviews the work of team members in terms of technical quality and completeness
• Produce high-level reporting specifications that meet business requirements within the scope of the pre-established or conceptualized Reporting and Analytics needs.
• Produce detailed reporting specifications consistent with the reporting needs.
• Identify and communicate proactively and diligently design and scope issues with the Offshore Project Manager
• Conduct report reviews with customer as needed
• Creates other technical deliverable artifacts needed for project implementation.
• Coordinate with QA functions for the Reporting application, including ensuring that system and integration test plans are developed and executed.
• Responsible for knowledge transfer, training and communication with the client/ end users and other team members

SKILL SET:

• 5-7 years experience on User interface design and information architecture of web and desktop applications-including screens, interaction elements, and visual asset
• Hands on experience in developed design mockups in Visio, Photoshop and HTML
• Preferred experience on products like iRise, Microsoft Blend etc
• Knowledge on standards on wireframes, mockups, and interaction specifications for mobile and tablet applications
• Experience in collaborating with technology and business teams to identify requirements
• Experience in designing and developing of corporate, intranet, business, consumer, and non-profit web sites
• Ability on coordinating of multiple projects and schedules
• Excellent communication skills with users, clients, and multidisciplinary teams

• Develop wireframe and mock up for web interface and mobile interface applications

Quality Assurance and Testing Team

SCOPE

DESCRIPTION

• The primary role of the QA Analyst is to execute all the test cases by using various testing tools, report issues to the project teams, manage test results and perform system test, performance test and regression test of the data warehousing solution. 
• The person performing this role would require having over all Seven (7) to Nine (9) Years experience as a QA Analyst and at least 3-5 years of QA experience, preferably in healthcare domain and data warehousing.

 MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 Years of experience in designing test scripts and test execution of large enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience in Automation tools like Selenium
• Experience on reporting issues with tools like Test Director, Clear Quest
• Experience in testing Responsive Web based applications build on Angular JS, React etc
• Experience in testing Reports and dashboards using BI tools like Cognos and Tableau
• Good SQL programming skills and demonstrate the ability to create test scripts corresponding to all business and functional test cases
• Understands Agile/Scrum model of application development

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tests ETL, reporting and web applications for Provider and Payer clients
• Develops test plans, test cases and then execute the tests to identify and analyze system failures
• Able to lead a team of 3-4 resources. Report to the onsite client resource
• Generates test data sets to validate the business rules
• Participates in software requirement and design reviews to assure testable requirements
• Develops test automation scripts for functional and performance testing
• Responsible for collaborating with the offshore coordinator, business analyst and data analyst to resolve application issues and ensuring these decisions are documented.
• Produce 100 percent defect free application complying with technical specifications and business requirements.
• Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating code level and document related issues and recommending potential solutions.
• Participates in ETL, report design and web reviews.
